Arcana Institute is made up of four major departments:
- Analytical Department – develops comparative clinical effectiveness analyses as well as costs and cost-effectiveness analyses for specific treatment options.
- Advisory Department – provides meritoric support before, during and after the reimbursement process. This department creates several types of analyses (eg. Predecizer) and manages the Market Access SentinelTM newsletter and online portal;
- Department of Methodology Development – provides statistical and methodological support to internal departments and also leads international projects;
- Pharmacovigilance Department – responsible for monitoring medical literature for the purpose of identifying ICSRs (individual case safety reports). Department also provides other services related to pharmacovigillance.
